Disney’s Epcot Center Orlando was the second park built in 1982 in Walt Disney World Resort Florida and at twice the size of Magic Kingdom, Epcot was always going to be huge. Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow is Epcot’s acronym. The popularity of Disney’s Epcot Center has never been better. Seeing tourists from all over the world come to visit. Hence, making the park even more successful. With Epcot’s focus being on science and technology. As well as celebrating of human achievements and international cultures. Fans of space and time are flocking here in their thousands to visit. Representing other nations of the world as pavilions. Focusing on entertainment through technology as well as planet preservation, which is highly regarded here. Also, international cuisine is cooked here at the center. Cuisines from different ethnic cultures taste out of this world. 

Divided into two parts, Epcot  hosts Future World as well as World Showcase. Having eight separate pavilions representing innovative technology and science. Future World is at the forefront of information based theme parks. World Showcase has eleven pavilions. Each pavilion represents a Nation of the World. Altogether, an exciting day out. Hence the reason why, an Epcot Center visit is always well attended.

Future World makes up one half of the Epcot Center. Top attractions are spread across eight pavilions. All pavilions are situated around the incredible futuristic geodesic sphere that dominates the landscape of Epcot center. Technology fans, what could top that? Epcot hosts top quality as well as family friendly attractions. As all Disney attractions are designed and built with family entertainment as well as safety at the forefront.

World Showcase, Epcot Center Orlando is stunning too. Eleven World Nations! Each filled with their own culture and colour as well as attractions and food. Also, for example, delicious foods are cooked with each nation in mind. Offering samples, which you can taste too. Also known as “Permanent World’s Fair”. Drawing thousands of tourists and holidaymakers from around the world daily. The fantastic sights and smells of each pavilion are captivating and make exploring a satisfying experience.

‘Spaceship Earth’ takes you journeying through time. Time travelling and hearing the story of communication. For example, from Stone Age times through to modern man.

Also, Spaceship Earth is said to be “by far the largest attraction”. Situated perfectly, inside the geodesic sphere. Each carriage is interactive with the latest touch screen technology. Hence, allowing visitors to choose their own design-able futures.

‘Mission Space’ is cleverly built as an astronaut simulation ride. With interactive missions to choose from the controls are yours. ‘Mission Space: Advance Training Lab’ is a family friendly as well as space themed. The play arena  is where you leave the main ride.

‘Bruce’s Shark World’ is found inside The Seas with Nemo and Friends pavilion.  Providing the perfect opportunity to have your photograph taken with Bruce. ‘Disney Animals’ is also in the same pavilion. Featuring beautiful marine life. For example, Coral Reef and Reef Fish in the aquarium. Sea Turtles and Sharks as well as Stingrays also lurk the aquariums.

‘Leave a Legacy’ exhibition is at the front of Epcot. This once allowed world wide visitors the unique opportunity to leave their legacy. Etching their names and faces on the plaques. returning visitors, can you find yours?

‘Project Tomorrow: Inventing The Wonders of The Future’ sees an interactive family play area. Right after leaving Spaceship Earth. Create and explore as well as trying out some of the amazing games and activities here. ‘SeaBase’ holds a fantastic aquarium with a vast array of marine fish. Feeding times are daily at 10:00 am and 15:30 pm. Look out for the beautiful angelfish.

‘The Seas with Nemo and Friends’ is a huge pavilion themed on the movie Finding Nemo. Venture below the depths of the sea in one of the amazing clamobiles. Search for Nemo, who is lost. Also, swim the East Australian current with Crush. ‘Soarin’ Around The World’ is a hang gliding experience that soars around inside the clever projected dome. Unfortunately for the youngsters, you have to be a metre in height to ride.

‘Test Track’ is ideal fun for the whole family. Design your very own six-seated vehicle and take it for a simulated drive

‘Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival’ is held in the Magic Eye Theatre. Offering  4D short movies for the whole family. ‘Imageworks: The “What If” Labs’ are an indoor interactive and sensory friendly play area. Located as you leave Journey into imagination with Figment.

‘Innoventions’ allows the whole family to become their own scientist. Hosted inside a colourful science themed pavilion. ‘Journey Into Imagination with Figment’ is a hugely popular ride for the whole family. Travelling through Dr Channings Laboratories is an extremely sensory as well as being hands on experience.

‘Living With The Land’ is a super cruise. Floating through the journey of where food originates from. Fun for all the family through the bio-labs at Epcot.

‘Turtle Talk with Crush’ is part of the The Seas with Nemo pavilion. The exhibit is interactive fun for the whole family. Meet Crush and his amazing friends where you can answer his questions too.

11:00 am to 20:15 pm

‘Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure’  is an exciting and interactive crime solving adventure. For example, using your smartphone to read clues and solve puzzles. As well as searching the pavilions of World Showcase like a detective.

There are three top quality food facilities here. All offering fine dining experiences for the whole family. For example, Garden Grill Restaurant has a delicious farm fresh menu.

You could also have a surprise visit from Chip ‘n’ Dale too. Electric Umbrella Restaurant has a speedy service and offers classic food too. 

Lastly, Coral Reef Restaurant serves amazing American Sea Food at reasonable prices for the family. The restaurants are all family friendly and offer tasty food too. Hence the reason why, food here is highly regarded.

Epcot Center Orlando shows creativity. For example, Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Also, Epcot International Food and Wine Festival are both cultural.

Epcot International Festival of the Holidays runs through November/December. Celebrate holidays from around the world right here at Epcot.

Live music performances by leading bands too. Drawing in the holidaymakers and tourists. Tickets usually sell fast too, so book early! Food and refreshments are available. Also, catering for cultural foods too.

Epcot Center Orlando has exhilarating displays. Night time extravaganzas at Epcot Center Orlando are firework spectaculars too. The bright and colourful fireworks launch each evening. Also, stunning laser displays captivate the crowds.

Water effects over World Showcase Lagoon show breathtaking sights too. Beautiful displays of vibrant colours too. From a distance the whole event is mesmerising for the crowds of people.

Epcot’s night time spectacular is IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. I recommend travelling to see for yourself.

Words can’t describe how beautiful and moving the event is too. Bursting firework displays light night skies over Epcot. Also, providing beautiful photograph opportunities!
