Situated in the heart of Orlando, Dubsdread Golf Course is a spectacular golfing venue. Boasting vibrant fairways and lush greens, the course is beautiful amid the Florida sunshine. Stunning putting greens are very well maintained and inviting, perfect for a leisurely round of golf. This par 70, golf course has 18 holes to play surrounded by picturesque views.
First opening to the public way back in 1923, Dubsdread is the oldest course in Florida. Some of the very best golfing legends have played this very course, during the Orlando Golf Open competition, setting challenging pars. For example, Claude Harman and Ben Hogan, as well as Sam Snead have all played rounds here at Dubsdread.
Each hole can be challenging to stay under par, but well worth playing. Though challenging, yet beautiful with bunkers of white sands beyond a picturesque lake offering reflective views are simply stunning. Probably best to be avoided with your ball though. The clubhouse is open and sells memorabilia as well as golfing equipment. Tee times are held at regular throughout the day and costs around £30 per person. This does not include cart hire, which is a separate cost.
In between rounds of golf, the clubhouse is a great way to socialise and meet fellow golfers in Orlando. With an equal mixture of local residents and holiday makers, the clubhouse on the golf course is the perfect way to relax and share experiences.
