Doubling up as both a theme park and production studio, Universal Studios Florida is a fantastic family day out. First opening its gates in 1990 as part of the original Universal Orlando Resort, the theme park was designed to amaze. Appealing to families and holidaymakers it became very popular and still remains strong today. The movie and TV themed park is one of the top six most visited theme parks.

Hence the reason why, Universal Studios Florida sees hundreds of thousands of visitors daily. Worthy of a full day visit at least. Vast in size and packed with plenty of things to do, the eight regions are always busy. Each region houses it’s own unique and diverse attractions and rides. As well as family dining opportunities throughout each of the regions, there are also, shopping opportunities as well as family shows too. Characters are often parading or meeting the public, so be on the lookout. Firstly, there is Hollywood, which houses some major rides and fabulous family dining areas too. Next is New York, which is home to the famous Revenge of the Mummy attraction. Production Central has rides and attractions as well as dining and shopping.

San Francisco is great for shopping and dining out. Springfield: Home of the Simpsons is family fun at it’s best too. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley is just fabulous!
