The fabulous Egypt Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is quite different from the rest of the park. Featuring four main attractions there is plenty to do here. Also, having gift shops to buy trinkets and souvenirs. There are dining facilities here for the whole family to enjoy. Sadly there are no animal attractions or encounters here. However, the Skyride cable car is based here in the Egypt Region. There are three major roller coasters here for thrill seekers. Also, be aware that some of the attractions are height restricted. For example, the world famous Cobra’s Curse Roller Coaster is housed in Egypt Region. As well as the Cheetah Hunt roller coaster and the Montu roller coaster. The Skyride Cable Cars in the Egypt Region of the park are amazing. Taking you high above the park offering birds eye views of the beauty of Busch Gardens. The whole of the park in aerial view is stunning. Height restrictions are in place on the Skyride Cable Cars. You have to be more than 1.4 metres tall to be able to ride. With heights of 50 feet in places the Skyride crosses the park in style. Relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery with the family. Watch the animals from the safety of your cable car and gaze upon the roller coasters in action below. The sights are awesome too. Visit and ride, it’s that simple.
Cheetah Hunt Coaster – Egypt Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Egypt Region hosts the Cheetah Hunt Roller Coaster which is family fun. Being a ride for thrill seekers comes at a price. Hence the reason why, there are height restrictions in place. You have to be more than 1.2 metres tall to ride the Cheetah Hunt. Boasting three launches, the Cheetah Hunt Roller Coaster is an amazing ride. Also, this coaster is the longest ride at the park. A staggering 4,400 feet in length. Take the Cheetah Hunt today and ride the twists and turns through the rocky gorges below. By using Photokey, take advantage of having your photograph taken. Cobra’s Curse Coaster – Egypt Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Don’t miss out on the world famous Cobra’s Curse Roller Coaster here at the Egypt Region. This ride is excitement at it’s finest. Bring the family for a ride on the Cobra’s Curse if you dare. The coaster is totally unique and a thrill seekers dream ride. Taking in speeds of around 40 mph on the descent. Not only travelling forwards, but backwards to in places. As well as free spinning in the car itself along the way. There are two separate height restrictions in place on the Cobra’s Curse Roller Coaster. firstly, you have to be more than 1.2 metres tall to be able to brave the ride alone. Secondly, riders of only one metre in height can still ride. However, they must be accompanied by someone who is 14 years of age.
Montu Roller Coaster – Egypt Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
The Montu Roller Coaster situated in the Egypt Region is brilliant. The coaster is phenomenal with seven different inversions included. Built with excitement in mind, the Montu Roller Coaster does not disappoint. Classed as an extreme thrill seeking ride, Montu Coaster definitely lives up to reputation. After the inclined climb to the top be ready. Montu drops whilst twisting. Then looping round an intense vertical before rendering you weightless. Awesome! Extreme fun at it’s best. Obviously there are height restrictions in place on the Montu Roller Coaster. Having to be almost 1.4 metres to ride this coaster is purely a safety measure. Over the height restriction? Then you have to try it out, the inversions are stomach clenching.

Egypt Region has a fantastic restaurant for family dining called The Serengeti Overlook Pub. Offering a fabulous American style dining service and great foods. The menu comprises of entrees, sides and desserts as well as a fantastic kids menu. With a range of pizzas and wraps as well as sandwiches the food here tastes great. A variety of soft or hot drinks are available for families. Over 21’s should try the Safari Cocktails available. They are delicious. Seating is both indoors as well as outdoors. you should take advantage of the beautiful Florida weather and take a seat outdoors. Also, take the opportunity to watch the passing animals from the luxury of your dining table.
