Animals Attractions at Asia Region
Playful Gibbons at Asia Region

Opening at 09:00 am and Closing at 20:00 pm, the Gibbons attractions at Asia Region are available to visit. The adorable gibbons are naturally playful as well as mischievous too. Come and see them swinging and chattering in their natural habitat at the Asia Region of the park. Primarily consisting of bamboo beams and rope swings, the gibbons love their home here. Also, the towering trees and ladders help to keep the gibbons active too. Gibbons are natural herbivores, which means that they eat a vegetarian diet. Mainly comprising of leaves and flowers as well as fruits and nuts. They love foraging for food and stay active. Disney allows gibbons to use technology. They learn and adapt through tablet computers. Gibbons are an endangered species and Walt Disney agreed to help them. Through an enrichment program at Animal Kingdom, they are surviving well. Plenty of new additions have been seen here with a population boost. Hence the reason why, the breeding program is amazing here too.
Predatory Tigers at Asia Region

Opening at 09:00 am and Closing at 18:30 pm, visit the beautiful Asian Tigers at Asia Region. Huge attractions to see; like the Asian Tigers are living in their natural habitat here at the theme park. Tigers are natural predators, which means that they hunt and kill their own food. They only eat meat in their diet because they are carnivores. The habitat has plenty of hilly areas and pools as well as trees and rocks. For claw sharpening the tigers use the trees that fall into their habitat. The tigers are encouraged to behave as they would in the wild here too. Meats are hidden in sacks in their enclosures. Allowing the tigers to stay sharp with their senses and hunt their own food sources. They take beautiful photographs and capturing one with the camera is thrilling. Disney has vowed to assist in animal conservation, saving the Asian Tiger species is a program operating. Already, their have been births to gorgeous cubs, which are fantastic achievements. Also, one birth is another Tiger added to the endangered population.

Expedition Everest Ride – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain

Opening 09:00 am until 20:00 pm. Dare you ride the Expedition Everest at Asia Region and take the journey of a lifetime? Height restrictions apply to this ride. Sadly, you have to be either 1.13 metres or 44 inches tall to ride the Expedition Everest. Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain is a ‘high impact thrill’ ride. Perfect for the thrill seeking adventurers. Hence the reason why, there are height restrictions in place. Also, parts of the ride can be scary for youngsters too. The train car takes you on a journey like no other. Ride through the Himalayan Mountains and navigate through tunnels. Also, hold on tight as the track snakes at alarming speeds through bends as well as climbing and dropping more than 80 feet in places. The stomach churning drops are amazing. A tummy tickling double looped turn warrants gasps. High speed and thrilling action sees the train racing forwards and then without warning backwards too. Race the mountain and traverse through caves and passages to find the Yeti of legend. Awesome!
Kali River Rapids Ride

Ride opening is 09:00 am, Closing at 20:00 pm. Navigate the rivers of Kali, have you got the courage to try the Kali River Rapids at Asia Region? Height restrictions apply to this ride. Unfortunately, you have to be either 38 inches, or just short of 1 metre tall to ride the Kali River Rapids. The fabulous Kali River Rapids is a fast paced thrill ride on the rushing waters. Ride with family and friends in the inflatable boat that seats twelve. As you begin the water adventure, an air of calmness seems relaxing as you bob along. However, all is not what as it seems. From the peak of the mountain you can glimpse the trek down to the bottom. Take a deep breath and hold on tight as the pace picks up dramatically. Spinning and twisting on the whitewater rapids as you descend your way down river. The thrill is amazing and breathtaking too. A twenty foot drop still looms ahead and the anticipation turns your stomach in knots. Racing through the waters, you pass gorgeous waterfalls and flow underneath bridges. Beware of the elephant squirters positioned on the bridges because you get wet too.
Maharajah Jungle Trek

Trek Opens at 09:00 am and Closes at 18:30 pm, Don’t miss your chance to explore the Maharajah Jungle Trek at Asia Region of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You have to experience the Maharajah Jungle Trek at Asia region. It is both visually stunning and exotically exciting. With no age or height restrictions here, the whole family can enjoy the trek through the jungles of the Maharajah. Make the walk leisurely as there is a lot to see here. Follow the natural trail through the jungle and make your way over huge footbridges. take in the beauty of the waterfalls and ancient ruins as you traverse the trail. Expect to see the wildlife roaming around the ruins and above in the towering trees. More than fifty different species of birds live here, including the flying fox. Blackbucks, Komodo dragons and deer roam freely across the jungle floors. As do the water buffalo too. Lurking the ruins are the Asian Tigers on the prowl and in the trees, see the gibbons swinging the vines. Photograph stations are in select places where the animal encounters are more likely. Make sure you have the camera to capture the amazing experience forever.
