Opening at 10:00 am and Closing at 23:00 pm, there are three fantastic attractions in Marketplace at Disney Springs Orlando. All attractions in Marketplace at Disney Springs are both family friendly and exciting. As well as being Disney fun-filled too. Also, be aware that there are height restrictions in place for all of the attractions. Each restriction will be listed separately below. Don’t forget to fetch the camera to capture those memories. The rides might last several minutes, but a picture will last forever. Treat the children to some time out from shopping with a ride or two on the attractions in Marketplace at Disney Springs. Hence the reason why, so many visitors capture the fun of Disney and relive the memories through photographs.
Marketplace Carousel
Height restrictions on the Marketplace Carousel are set for safety reasons and must be adhered to. You have to be 1.07 metres or 42 inches tall before you can ride on your own. Children under that height may still ride, but must be accompanied by an adult. There is a charge of roughly £2.50 per child, but adults who ride with children under the height restrictions do not have to pay for themselves. Take your steed and enjoy a ride on the Marketplace Carousel. Feel the wind on your face as you rotate on the beautifully hand painted carousel horses. Also, slowly glide around the carousel and take in the sights of the Marketplace. Don’t forget to wave to your loved ones as you rotate. As well as enjoying the experience too.
Marketplace Train Express
Also, height restrictions apply to the Marketplace Train Express too. They are put into effect for the protection of the riders and must be honoured. Children have to be 1.22 metres or 48 inches to be able to ride unaccompanied. However, adults can accompany the children under the set height restrictions, allowing them to ride too. The fee for the Marketplace Train Express is around £2.50 for one ride or just under £4.00 to ride twice. Also, accompanying adults will not have to pay for themselves, only the children. The train is a slow and enjoyable ride for the younger children. Feel free to climb aboard and ride along the landscaped tracks for a smooth journey. Ride inside the engine carriage up front where you can toot the horn too.
Star Wars – Secrets of the Empire by ILMxLAB and The VOID
There are regulated height restrictions also in place at the Star Wars – Secrets of the Empire attraction too. Children wanting to try this Virtual Reality experience must be 1.22 metres or 48 inches tall to do so. You also have to be 10 years or older to be able to take part. Entry is only accepted with a ticket purchased through Disney and the cost is around £23.00 per person. Once inside, put on the special VR headset and let your adventure begin. Working in small teams of four, you have to enter the Empire and assist the rebels during the rebellion of the Empire. The experience is phenomenal and you can walk around and interact with characters and objects. Surrounded with 3D reality image and sound technology makes the attraction worth the while. Altogether the attraction is Mind Blowing!
