Visit the fabulous Pantopia Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and explore. Pantopia Region hosts live family shows at two separate venues and dining facilities, as well as gift shops to buy novelty trinkets to take home. Pantopia Region also has major rides throughout the area for family fun. Visit the two separate roller coaster here and the drop tower ride as well as the swingship style ride. Sadly, there are no animal encounters in Pantopia, but the rides and dining are value for money and family fun. As well as the gift shops and live shows provide plenty of entertainment for family vacation holidays in Florida. The rides in Pantopia are the SandSerpent Roller Coaster and the Phoenix. Also, there’s Falcon’s Fury as well as the Scorpion Roller Coaster. Please be aware that some of the rides have height restrictions in place.
Pantopia Theater – Pantopia Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
The amazing Pantopia Theater in the Pantopia Region at Busch Gardens is an elegant all-seated theater. Being modern and inclusive, the Pantopia Theater caters for disabilities having wheelchair friendly access and reserved areas for wheelchair users too. Showcasing at the Pantopia Theater is the famous show ‘Opening Night Critters’. This is a very popular performance and booking your place in advance is advisable. The show is engaging and features starring roles from some of the animals at the park. The animals steal the show and entertain the families watching. At the end of the half hour performance you can even stay and meet some of the stars and talk with their trainers. There are other themed shows held at the theater throughout the season, but ‘Opening Night Critters’ is by far the most popular. The second theater is the Dragon Fire Grill Theater at the opposite end of Pantopia, but currently there are no live shows held here at the moment.
Falcon’s Fury – Pantopia Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Pantopia Region has Falcon’s Fury Drop Tower, which is proud to boast being North America’s tallest freestanding tower at a whopping 335 feet in height. Falcon’s Fury is an amazing attraction and is an extreme thrill ride. Dare you take the plunge? Seating 32 visitors, the Falcon’s Fury climbs up the tower to 300 feet. Taking a whole minute to reach the top, the intensity is outrageous. See the whole beauty of the park from the peak of the tower. Falcon’s Fury then tips the seats, the unsuspecting passengers now facing towards the ground. Hold on to your stomachs as the ride then drops you 300 feet straight down. Reaching a speed of 90 mph the intense thrill will leave you speechless. For safety reasons height restrictions apply on this ride. You can only ride falcon’s Fury if you are almost 1.4 metres tall.
Phoenix Swing Ship – Pantopia Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
The exciting Phoenix Swing Ship at Pantopia Region is a great experience. Ride the phoenix if you dare? The Phoenix Swing Ship loads up the crew and starts to swing, like a pendulum. Slowly to begin with, then increases momentum. Before you know it the momentum has increased to the point that the ship is swinging back and forth freely. Then, boom! Phoenix takes you over the top and loops round and round. Upside down at the tip of the loop is a thrill for the riders. Phoenix Swing Ship operates with a height restriction in place. Although children can ride the Phoenix, they have to be almost 1.4 metres in height to do so.
Scorpion Coaster – Pantopia Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
See the Scorpion Roller Coaster at Pantopia Region. Classed as an average thrill ride and can be deemed to be a little more child friendly. The Scorpion is well designed, having the right amount of thrills for the guests. Scorpion Roller Coaster has plenty of thrill factor as the carriage takes the tracks at some speed. Up to 50 mph to be precise. Navigating the twists and turns at speed is exhilarating fun. Looping the loop on it’s way round the track the Scorpion Roller Coaster certainly does not disappoint. Although the Scorpion is more child friendly in comparison to the extreme thrill rides, there are still height restrictions that apply. Children have to be almost one metre tall to ride the Scorpion Roller Coaster, ruling out some of the younger guests.
SandSerpent Coaster – Pantopia Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Pantopia Region also has the SandSerpent Roller Coaster which has an average thrill rating at the park. Featuring small carriages that seat up to four people, the SandSerpent is nimble and nippy. Take to the tracks and zip around the tight turning curves as you navigate the route. Climbing high to the peak of the track, which is five stories in height. Having several tummy tickling drops and a corkscrew, the SandSerpent Roller Coaster is a crowd-pleaser at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Also, being more child friendly than some of the more extreme rides here. There are height restrictions that apply to riding the SandSerpent Roller Coaster. Although more child friendly, children still have to be more than 1.1 metres tall before they can ride the SandSerpent.

Pantopia offers fine family dining at the Dragon Fire Grill and Pub. Featuring a food court dining area and an international cuisine, the Dragon Fire Grill and Pub ticks all of the boxes. With a menu offering a range of dishes the food here is delicious and cultural. Dishes from America, Asia and Italy as well as the Southwest make the Dragon Fire Grill and Pub a great place to family dine. Ranging from grilled chicken to meatballs and also, boasting a good range of pastas and flatbreads too. The selection choice is diverse. Beverages on offer include soft drinks and hot drinks as well as beers for the over 21’s at the bar. Relax and unwind with good food and a satisfying refreshment at dragon Fire Grill and Pub.
