Summit Plummet
Disney’s Blizzard Beach has Summit Plummet, a thrill seeking single track slide. The drop from the top of Mount Gushmore is almost vertical at 120 feet. Sadly, children under the height of 1.2 metres will not be able to ride summit plummet, but there’s no stopping anybody over that height. Dare you gravity drop on summit Plummet? The exciting and intriguing ride for thrill seekers wanting to take the slope is phenomenal. Also, watch your speed as you navigate the slide where everything is recorded too. Hence the reason why the photo booth at the bottom is so popular.
Slush Gusher
The incredible Slush Gusher at Disney’s Blizzard Beach is another thrill seekers fast paced water slide; with one or two small drops on the way down. Stretching over 90 feet in length it feels like aquaplaning on top of the slushy snow whilst navigating your way to the bottom. Unfortunately, this slide also has a height restriction of 1.2 metres. Teamboat Springs
Trying out Teamboat Springs at Disney’s Blizzard Beach is a pleasant experience; for a more family orientated ride than the single track slides too. With no height restrictions in place; meaning whole families can ride together through Teamboat Springs. Also, from inside an inflatable inner tube raft try to navigate through winding stretches of white waters heading down the mountain. Real twists and turns means plenty of fun with water splashing as you venture onward. Perfect for the family of four to six people to stay together in one raft. Any more than six or less than four and you may have to share with other visitors. Make the most of Teamboat Springs and enjoy the experience of white water rapids as you descend.
